I am currently a Multimedia Production Specialist at the Voice of America in Washington, D.C.
My goal as a journalist is to tell a story as accurately and interestingly as possible. Whether a traditional television package or graphics-heavy web report with added still photos and embedded on-the-scene live video, I have the tools necessary to produce high-quality, professionally-edited multimedia stories for large, diverse audiences.
My primary responsibility at VOA is the daily production of television, radio, and web articles, working in concert with domestic and international correspondents. I am also exceptionally comfortable on the road, logging hundreds of hours as a field producer and reporter, covering major events like the 2016 South Carolina Presidential Primaries, the Iran Nuclear Deal negotiations in Vienna, Austria, the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, the Boston Marathon bombing, the George W. Bush Presidential Library dedication in Dallas, the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, the 2012 Presidential Primaries in New Hampshire, and more.
